PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

  2. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH

  3. INSPECT MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL

    1. Remove the manual transmission filler plug and gasket.

      A012M9GC02
      *1 Manual Transmission Filler Plug

    2. Check that the oil level is between 0 and 5mm (0.197 in.) from the bottom lip of the manual transmission filler plug opening.

      *a 0 to 5 mm
      Note:

      An excessively large or small amount of manual transaxle oil may cause problems.

    3. Check for oil leakage when the oil level is low.

    4. Install a new gasket and the manual transmission filler plug.
